The wall cannot wait on the warehouse

If the home screen scans an archive to decide whether a human is needed, it will lie by being blank. Put the alarm on a small, fast read.

I learned this on the operator side. It belongs in public because it is an architecture fact, not a dashboard tour. If the home screen has to scan a giant archive to tell you whether anything needs a human, the home screen will lie by being blank.

The pattern is old: a light projection for the wall, a heavy store for history. Company OS already said that about public pages. The operator desk had to learn it again. A control room that waits on the warehouse is not a control room.

wall <-- light projection (alarm, now) disk <-- heavy store (history) if the wall waits on the warehouse the wall is blank when you need it
