About Chris
Chris Criner has spent 25+ years making operations and technology keep running — contact centers, CRM platforms, messy migrations, and now the controls around autonomous agents. He owns TheCriners LLC in Coshocton, Ohio, and still writes the software.
Selected numbers
From employment history. These are not claims about current product revenue.
Chris started in a 500-seat call center at MCI, writing the reports operations actually used — Excel, Access, Crystal Reports — and fixing the computers when they failed. That is still the temperament: if the floor cannot run, the architecture does not matter.
At Enactus (formerly SIFE) he migrated data off Blackbaud onto Salesforce, cut about $200,000 in expense, and supported an intranet used in 38 countries. At ITM Marketing he went from Director of IT to Director of Operations and Business Development. He hired and scheduled on-site and remote workforces, moved the company fully remote in 30 days, and negotiated the contract that grew the operation from 80 people to more than 1,000. The $4.8 million figure on his résumé is career contract revenue from that work, not a TheCriners product claim.
At Therapy Brands he was Senior Manager of Systems and Processes: Zendesk SME, Salesforce administrator, EDI/ERA enrollment, Revenue Cycle Management, ACD ownership, and a Zendesk-to-Salesforce migration. He built a sentiment-analysis path on OpenAI’s davinci-003 for customer feedback. The organization was about 300 people, under HIPAA PHI/PII rules. PCI compliance is listed from the ITM years.
Since 2024 he has operated independently — including substantial international travel — and has been building TheCriners LLC in public: Company OS, the Money Hunter storefront, Packet Press, and the later productized reports. The current engineering is demonstrated work. It is not rewritten as employment he did not have.

Zendesk, Salesforce, RCM, EDI/ERA, ACD, HIPAA. Migration work that had to survive a real billing floor.
Contact-center operations, workforce scale 80 → 1,000+, $4.8M contract revenue, $100k IT expense reduction, Salesforce implementation, 30-day remote shift. Earlier: Director of IT / Interim Director of Operations.
Salesforce from Blackbaud, $200k expense reduction, intranet across 38 countries.
Reporting for a 500-seat center; in-center databases and websites; hands-on networking.
Résumé plus demonstrated work in this environment. Coursework is labeled as coursework; exams not taken are not claimed as certifications.
Written commercially, limited to work Chris has actually done or is demonstrably doing.
Designing agents that are allowed to act, with grants and receipts instead of hope.
Taking a real floor — billing, tickets, workforce — and removing the steps that only exist because nobody rewrote them.
Zendesk, Salesforce Service, ACD, and the unglamorous routing that decides who talks to a customer.
Migrations that have to keep taking calls. Not a greenfield demo.
The reports operations will actually open. SQL, warehouses, and the glue around them.
Isolation, ALLOW/HOLD/DENY, public/private boundaries, and saying no to WAN-published dashboards.
Interim director energy: hire, schedule, negotiate, migrate, and stay until the system is boring again.
When something is down, wrong, or held together with a spreadsheet. Rapid technical problem solving is the through-line from MCI forward.
Consulting, employment and leadership conversations, partnerships, and technical questions after you have looked at the public systems. Email is the reliable path.
