TheCriners LLC · Ohio
We build small companies and software systems, then see how far they can operate on their own.
One legal company. Named workers. Public products. Private admin. No fake customers, and no speech about revolutionizing the future.
- 6 companies
- 20 departments
- 69 named roles
- 6 public sites
- 8 papers
Chris Criner is the owner. Every other name is an operating role — an AI worker with a title, a manager, and a grant boundary. The gold line is the control plane. Click an engine. The empty bay is a demo.

How a company gets built
A directory isn't a company.
A folder on disk is storage. A company has identity, an operating model, workers, a revenue path, authority, memory, events, health, support, and storage — then it joins the control plane. This demonstration uses a fictional firm called Northlamp. It does not call the real factory.

The portfolio
Each face has a job. None of them is a second LLC.
Projects and brands of TheCriners LLC — not separate legal entities. Operator dashboards are not on this site.
Operations pipeline
Money Hunter
Lawful jobs from public data, run as a qualify → produce → verify line.
Civic briefs
Packet Press
Structured briefs from government packets the city already posted.
Recall report
Pullsheet
Up to 25 of your inventory lines versus official CPSC and FDA records.
Label draft
Hearthlabel
A Nutrition Facts draft from a recipe and USDA FoodData Central. Not FDA approval.
Print product
Seatpack
Guest list in. Seating chart and place cards out. $19.
Validating
Crawlerdesk
Named AI crawlers mentioned or disallowed on a public URL. Validating — a hostname is not a launch.
Infrastructure
Company OS
The authority layer: isolation, grants, receipts, recovery.
Research
Trading Labs
Paper-first market research: thesis, risk, review. Not a brokerage.
Experiment desk
Revenue Labs
Cheap tests. Then ship, pivot, or kill. Killing is a success if the test was cheap.
Inside the machine
Workflows you can watch, not a stack of landing pages.
Select a company. The steps are the public-safe lifecycle — not the private task queue.
The organization is alive
A public pulse, sanitized on purpose.
Projected from Company OS. Identity, purpose, capability, lifecycle. Money, queues, and operator state stay off this site.

What we're experimenting with
Experimental is interesting. Pretending otherwise is not.
The person
Chris Criner
Owner. Twenty-five years of operations and technology. Still writing the software. The named roles on the map report through Company OS; they are not a hidden staff of fifty humans in Ohio.
Public / private
This site is the showroom. Admin is the control room. Dashboards are not published here. Support is an AI agent that will say so if you ask.
