TheCriners LLC

Building autonomous businesses and the infrastructure that lets them operate safely.

We design systems that can work while we sleep — and the grants, receipts, and boundaries that keep those systems from doing work they were never given.

The ecosystem

One company. Shared infrastructure. Distinct public faces.

The portfolio is the proof. Each project below is a brand of TheCriners LLC, not a second LLC.

What we actually build

Technology you can inspect, not a slogan about AI.

Autonomous worker runtimes

Named workers take leased work, leave receipts, and stop when the grant says stop.

Tenant isolation

Each company keeps its own directory, database, secret file, and hostname. Opening the wrong store fails closed.

Signed inter-company messaging

Companies talk over signed envelopes. The parent does not open a child’s private store to “just check.”

AI customer support

A public agent that can identify the product and open a case — and that is forbidden from quoting cash, PIDs, or private consoles.

Executive coordination

Supervised briefs for operations, cash, incidents, and funnel. Rank is not a grant.

Capability and grant enforcement

ALLOW runs. HOLD waits for an owner. DENY refuses. Defaults fail closed on the dangerous actions.

Receipts and auditability

Work that completes writes evidence. Completing already-done work is refused.

Recovery and supervised services

Backup without secrets. Restore that cannot sneak a vault into place. Units that stay on loopback.

Public / private boundary

Customer sites are public. Operator dashboards are not. That line is a product decision, not an afterthought.

Company OS

The reusable authority layer. Open source, Security Model 1.2.0, discovery release 0.5.0-rc1.

Portfolio

Working projects, with honest status.

We do not invent customers, product-market fit, or revenue we did not collect. Checkout is live only where we say it is.

The person

Chris Criner

Twenty-five years running operations and technology — contact centers, CRM migrations, automation, and the unglamorous work of keeping a floor running. Owner of TheCriners LLC. Still writing the software.
